I did my test on Oct 1 as well, and they didn't ask me for anything, I'm still IP as well. I called the agent told me my test result hasn't been updated yet. Maybe a whole bunch of us who did test on Oct 1 got stuck a bit? Don't know why.. You did your test in Scarborough?

YES BUDDY!

No necessarily true. I had my test a month ago and past and I'm still in IP. Called and the agent said everything is done except for test results - they haven't updated my test result yet.
Could be. There are many ingredients for any such action. When i took my test, the very next it was DM but for my wife it took almost a week. I guess it also depends on the CO who is handling the files. He or she may be utterly busy or backlogged already.

Depending on how late your test comes. If your test is so close to the 12 months mark they will schedule you for ceremony right away. this is what i was told and what happend with couple of my friends

A processing time starts the day we receive a complete application and ends when we make a decision.

By putting their Decision Made to my application, their metrics are met. Oath waiting time does not count to anything. No accountability for that. Just like looooong ER wait time!!!

Darn! This is something new!! Well kinda make sense though. Oath taking is the end result of the process and not a process part itself.

Finally after seven months my status change to DM !!!!
I'm waiting for Oath and my case has been over a year (25 Oct,2017).
Congrats! CIC have met their 12 months metrics. Now whatever wait time you have for Oath doesn't count to anything.

Finally I became Canadian Citizen on Nov 2nd. The Ceremony was held sat Mississauga and it took 2 hours. 100 participants from 35 countries took the oath and became Canadian Citizen. The CIC officials only checked your PR Card and oath letter signed. I wish goodluck k to all the people waiting for their oaths.

Hey guys, I'm a Nov 2017 applicant and had my test last week. The lady who did my interview said that "old files" like mine (12+ months) will have the oath ceremony soon (my ecas shows DM already). I was wondering if there are some cases like mine here that received the invite shortly after your test. Thank you!
