Congrats and welcome to the Canadian Family

I must say that you were one of the most patient members in this thread!
Thank you.

I'm getting stuck on the 30+ nationalities that are represented in each ceremony, i mean we all know Canada is a diverse country, but there are a few nationalities that dominate so how do they manage to get 30+ nationalities every time!

Looks like this is causing delay too, they need to make sure at least 25+ nationalities are present... I remember 26 nationalities were there on my oath ceremony @ Scarborough

My home country has probably in top 9 (or 10) most immigrants. (Now I have to do this kind of thing...lol)
Could that be a reason why I am still waiting in a line? seriously IRCC... (sigh)

Yep...that could be the unspoken secret which explains why some get invites earlier than others even though they applied later, or got DM later...

maybe adding another milestone in ECAS - "diversity sorting complete" would help as DM clearly doesn't mean much if you still need to wait many months after that step

I was seating in the front there was about 15 people from China and they wasn’t from the same family so I believe there’s is more than one person representing a country.

Had my Oath Ceremony today at Mississauga there was 105 applicants from 32 different countries it’s was about 1hr 1/2 which I think was very fast. So congrats to all the applicants who’s receive their Oath Invite today and the parking in Mississauga is $1.75 for half an hour or maximum rate is $9 for the day.
There is a free parking in a plaza at the intersection of Dunwin Dr and Dundas Street W, which is 5-7 minutes walking distance from IRCC Mississauga.

Guys, I just got the "INVITATION" @8:45am finally. Oath is in Mississauga on Aug 22.
