how do you know for sure which office is processing your application? I found out by calling but there is nothing on eCAS, only In process and we started procesing on date

Got my hands on oath letter and the location for Oath is Scarborough town center office at 10:30 AM on OCt 11th.

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 16, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 22, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on February 27, 2017.
  4. We sent you a notice on August 8, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 8, 2017 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  5. We sent you a notice on September 21, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on October 11, 2017 at 10:30 AM. We do not understand these people. I did my test 29 of June and still waiting for the oath invite. And some one did the test in September and get oath invite for October. What is the logic behind this?

Your overall time is less than mine so far. It all depends on your clearances which depend from person to person. You will only get an oath invite once all your checks and clearances are complete.
 
decision made that's means they have all the clearance before they took the decision positive or negative.

i am Nov Applicant Decision made Feb 03 and still waiting.....

I am not talking about myself. I am talking about people who have being waying more than 6 months after decision made. And when it says decision made that means all the checks have been done I believe.
 
Write to your MP and ask for update..........they should be helpful

  4. We sent you a notice on April 11, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 3, 2017 at 11:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  5. We sent you a notice on September 18, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on October 10, 2017 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  6. You became a Canadian citizen on October 10, 2017.

Shweta.iyer any update about your oath. i have called call center last week but they told me same story one more time. and said please call back after completion of 12 months. So, look like there are confident we need to called back after 12 months.

Hey Danny_princy.. i am waiting too.. I am contacting my local MP who is helping me by enquiring CIC on the delay.. Its super frustrating to see this esp when all others are getting their oath within 3 months.. Wonder whats going on..
