Congrats. When did you submit your application. My application reached on Nov 6th. Gave my test on 19th March and DM next day. Still waiting for Oath invitation

Does anyone have a rough idea of how long it takes between DM and Oath letter?
Scarborough seems to be running on its own timelines.

We finally received our invite for Oath this afternoon and will be going to Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga. Good luck to all who are still waiting. Oath will be August 31st, 9am.
Someone advised me to do an update on my contact on Ecas and that it may help. So I changed my number on the application to my work cell number last Friday.....not sure if it has anything to do with the invite.
Although I live in Stouffville, but I will be on vacation at Niagara Falls for that week so it will be easy to drive from there to Mississauga and back.

Thanks all for helping me to deal with the stress and for always having good and encouraging words whenever needed.

When I did my test, they told me to send a letter with the dates I couldn't make for the oath and attach an explanation of why I couldn't make it. In my case, I attached a flight itinerary.
They were insistent that I could only do this by mail (i.e. not email or phone call).

Guys please help

I applied for citizenship grant on Oct. 2017, wrote the test on Feb. 2018. and waiting for oath.
I called the IIRC call center and the agent told me, good news you are scheduled for oath in the exhibition place in Toronto (first time i hear they do oaths in the CNE) next week (Aug. 21)!!! that's next week!!!!!!!!
She also sent me information via email on what to bring with me. she said this is a confirmation and that I should attend the ceremony whether i receive the letter via email or not.
I called again right after to talk to someone else.. the second agent said yes the letter has been printed but can't confirm that I am scheduled 100% until it is sent!!! The problem is that I am abroad right now in a long vacation. What should I do??!! The agent said that I have to wait until receiving the letter, or I can call again to check on Friday.. total messed up and left me so confused.

Did this happen before to anyone?

Also my IRCC still shows DM to make it more confusing

Hi Guys,

Finally got the oath invite!!

Ceremony is on 31st of August in Mississauga (I took the test in Scarborough) at 1230pm.

I received the invite via email. The invitation letter also states that my application was approved on 29th Jan, 2018 (same day as the test). I wonder why it took so long for the oath invite!

Anyways, really happy to have received the invite and I do hope that all of your still waiting get their's soon.
