I hear you, I also have waited 4 months after DM and I applied in October. We just have to continue waiting for now.
You may be lucky to get called for August, I have heard of some November applications going for oath here so it's possible.
However, if I were you I will postpone my travel unless it is absolutely necessary in which case I will notify CIC about my trip to ensure I am not scheduled for that time.
I’m 5 months and from October. So I wouldn’t get too excited. I’d just keep on waiting.

That's unfortunate. 5 months DM??? I was hoping to go to my uncle's wedding in September but I guess I won't be. PR card expires very soon and it's 100 days for a replacement.

I hope they give invites this week. This silence for the past two weeks is really painful. I am an October applicant still waiting for the oath for over 4 months. I don't see any patterns, I think its random selection for the month.

To the people here, most of us have missed some important events. I missed my best-friend's wedding and a very close relatives funeral because my PR card expired during the Oath wait. But I am patience, as I believe that is the Canadian way and right thing to do.

The last Scarborough oaths were on the 31st of July

Hopefully we can all get pass this, ASAP. What’s more frustrating is a family friend of mine submitted her application Jan 2018 lives in Brampton ON wrote her test after mine, June 21, 2018 to be precise and she was sworn in July 18th 2018. Whereas I wrote my test May 08, 2018 DM - May 09, 2018 & no ceremony yet. Scarborough Office please what’s going on?

To those who live in Markham, Stouffville, Aurora, Newmarket (close to the 404) who had to take their oath in Mississauga in the morning (9 AM weekdays), how long did it take you to get there on time?

Note: travel 404, 401... not 407.

Thanks!

That won't be a pleasant drive. Luckily my ceremony is at 12:30, so I can evade the rush hour traffic. Still looking at a 1.5 hour commute from Newmarket to Sauga. If my ceremony was at 9am, I would consider an overnight stay at a motel near the airport or near the ceremony, assuming it's < $100 .

Hey guys,
Could anyone please confirm if Scarborough is still part of Canadian citizenship ceremony centre? It’s no longer on the list

Yeah, traffic in that direction must be cruel! My longest commute to work is to North York or downtown and I take the GO. If I have to go Sauga and anywhere beyond, I always leave after 10 or before 6 AM. So, I'm really not sure what happens between 6:30 - 9 AM.

I left home about 7.20 and we reach there about 8.35 the traffic was busy plus we were coming from Markham and 401.
