Passport scanned copies of passports is requested. Why is that ? What will be the next step. Please help.

They wanna verify your residency by checking your passport stamps. Next step will probably be DM. See my signature. They also asked me to send it before the interview.
 
My passport does not much stamp. Only have US and Canada in/out stamps, there is no stamp of in/out my home country stamp UK. I have visited many times to UK - sometime directed exit from Canada & sometime thru US.

I have in-and-out stamps from China but I forgot to ask for in-and-out stamps when I travelled between US and Canada. I think CBP, CBAS and UK border control should have that info. It is their job.
