Hello All,

Recently I was asked by Immigration to provide a Saudi Police Clearance. I've been in Canada for 9 years and 9 years ago I was in Saudi Arabia for 1 year. Now its been 10 days of emailing all embassies and calling with no success.

Today the Saudi embassy finally sent a reply and basically said they do not provide PCC but I can look into two websites and maybe they can help. (very unprofessional email btw).

So after looking into one, they give you the police clearance but are charging over $700. This includes
Application fee -$470.00
Processing fee - $125.00
Post - $37.00
HST - $82.00

I have emailed the website to ask if this is also for former residents. However before I shell out 700$ for a police clearance is there anyone who has used their services before and paid so much for it?

Should I go down this route? Any advise would help!! Time is of the essence as I have under 50 days to submit this.

The other company mentioned was visaenterprise in Ottawa as well ???

From your timeline, you had successfully got your PR. How did this option of securing police clearance go with you? Did you go for it? I am in the process of preparing my application and getting a police clearance from Saudi Arabia is difficult. I thought ask you for some feedback. Really appreciate your help. Thanks

Saudi govt. don't issue police clearances. You don't need to get a PCC from Saudi Arabia. Just get a letter from an immigration consultant that you have exhausted all your effort to request for a police clearance to no avail. You can also attached your correspondence with Saudi embassies but its optional.
Only this will cost you a fee, but will save you a lot of stress waiting.

Yes it is.
For almost 5 months I was sending request for Saudi PCC, to Riyadh, Alkhobar and lastly my home country embassy.
I even asked my previous company for help.
The embassies replied that they are not issuing PCC to those who are not in the middle east.
Then I was advised by others that CIC accepts explanation letters from immigration consultants.
I paid 50CAD for the letter and I submitted our application.
I just landed July 15 at rainbow bridge.
