Has anybody here gotten acknowledgement of receipt from Montreal under the post August 2013 rules?

A friend of mine got his application returned on Saturday. MICC (BIQ in Montreal) is requesting for the French language test result even though he ticked in his application that he is not submitting French test result. Without French he and his spouse are scoring 64 points.
He plans calling them, what do you people think? please send the MICC phone number

Thanks for replying sir...I have not contributed on SSS or to philippine tax yet because i was directly hired here in saudi arabia...i'm staying here with my family, i graduated high school here in KSA, but i studied nursing in philippines, after i graduated, i came back here to look for a job and was directly hired...I asked the SSS office here and they told me that OFWs may contribute as voluntary, meaning we are not obliged but advised...May i asked sir if birth certificate from NSO is good as certified true copy?

Fem here!.lol. No problem as long as i can answer the question. I would be very willing to help. So practically you are residing in KSA already but you aren't a citizen here right?. We are all here under a working permit if i am not mistaken. So the catch is the certificate of taxation should be given in your homeland which is the Philippines.

Absolutely they are right you aren't obliged to have an sss contribution, it applies only if you have had employment in the Philippines. It will be a legal proof of your employment.

Yes, The birth certificate given by NSO is already a certified true copy.

So all in all paper form to be attach will be:
1. form a1-1520-aa
2. form with the list of documents to be submitted
3. Self sufficiency form
4. Quebec declaration of values
5. A-0527-JA
6. Payment form if you pay by credit card

Did i forget something?

Correct sir! so i only need an affidavit explaining that i have no SSS contribution yet and a tax exemption certificate right? thanks again! goodluck on your application sir...

hmmmmmpfftttttt i won't answer your question if you keep calling me Sir!lol...

No need for an affidavit. It is clearly written in the form if you can't provide SSS contribution, you MUST provide a proof of income tax return instead.

Yes, he discovered that his wife did not tick the Questions 15 A and B in the CSQ application form which was meant to be ticked for applicants who are not submitting Language test results ( French test result) at the time of submission.

General Information:

I want to share my experience today. I have finally my POLICE CLEARANCE here in Saudi. I actually bypassed the step by step process given by our embassy in Riyadh. I don't think the letter of endorsement from them is actually needed. Though i obtained one.

Their flow would be to obtain endorsement letter from the phl embassy, present it to the ministry of foreign affairs in riyadh or in dammam. And from the MOFA they will give you endorsement letter to be send in the nearest police station in your location.

On my case I obtained endorsement letter from our embassy. I had the letter after a month though it was already available on the next day. When i was free i went to the police station and request for a police clearance. I asked the police man if there was a different format if one will use it for immigration purpose according to them none and it will be the same for all.

Today i have taken the letter of endorsement from our embassy and brought it to the ministry of foreign affairs. Though the letter of endorsement has a translation to arabic language stating that the Philippine government has no objection for the request of the police clearance, funny that the person in the MOFA disregard it and he just asked for the POLICE CLEARaNCE I have. Viola!,In a matter of 5minutes i have already my stamped Police clearance.

Hi,
Actually you will need police clearance cert during the second stage of the QSW process ie federal part which is after receiving CSQ.Because PCC comes with a expiry date ,so you will need to get a new PCC again as the whole process take long time.I see from your timeline you haven't received your CSQ or even AOR.
