thanx for ur reply badar
i am from Riyadh
the problem is that i am dealing with Warsaw office not London office! and it seems that they have a different system there, i know some of my friends from Jordan who arranged that pick up service via DHL Amman, but i wonder if this will work with DHL Saudi Arabia?!?
Yes wjd you are correct. I faced the same problem. Harry up to Aramex and ask them for pickup shipment. Warsaw will not send passport. You should arrange to pickup the passports.
Aramex will not accept to pick up passport unless you have an account number with them or you assess to pick your passport back without account number because such an account number requires that you have your own business here in KSA.

DHL and Fedex will not help you for pickup unless you have an account. I tired a lot with DHL but they did not accept also FedEx can't do pickup. Just Aramex can do pickup but with assess. Ask them for something called in arabic "boolesat ta2meen" by using the name of the supervisor.

Salam Dr. Anam

I also sent the passport via fedex on 11th May 2013. No need to arrange pickup as they will send the passport via aramex. Just wait for SMS notification via Aramex. They will let us know once the passport will reach jeddah.

dear van100
u r completely right
today i went to:
1- DHL, they told me that they need a contact person from inside the embassy & his phone No./ext. which i guess would be difficult to get!! anyway they took the address from me & told me that they will try to contact the embassy there to arrange the shipment before asking me to pay.
2- Fedex: they don't do the pick up service
3- UPS: they don't
4- TNT: they don't ship passports
5- Aramex: they told me to go to their head office in exit 16 to ask there
6- SKynet: they took my email & my mobile number & promised to be back after arranging with skynet Warsaw?!

i didn't imagine that this could be a problem, my friends from Jordan & Lebanon did that wth DHL very easily, it is a problem only here in Saudi Arabia!!
any advise guys??

Brother

Why dont your try via your office if possible. just give the account number to them than they will arrange otherwise pickup is big hassle.

LVO have no problem. you don't need arrange pick up because they will send passport. For Warsaw either using normal post(very slow and not secure) or by using pre-arranged carrier for pick up shipment

You are completely right wjd. I faced the same problem here in Saudi Arabia and as you said i didn't imagine that this could be a problem. However, it is a problem here in KSA as new regulation for 2013 said that there is only one way to send/receive passport which is the normal post(many carriers said the same statement). In jordan there is no problem there as passports could be send by carriers. However, in some countries like pakistan passport could not be send either by carrier or by normal post that is why they have ppr1 and ppr2.
