i made my draft from Saudi Fransi bank and all went well Alhamdolillah. but i had to open an account in the bank first to get the draft.

i am an old 2006 Damascus office applicant
i applied when i was in jordan in 2006, in 2007 i started working in Saudi arabia / Riyadh, i asked the CIC to transfer my file to London office in 2007 but they refused
my file was transferred to Warsaw office in April 2010
just 2 weeks ago i received my medicals, done & sent together with PCC and right for permanent residency fees on 11 Dec. 2012
waiting for passport request now
does anyone know hw long is it expected to receive my passport request from Warsaw office?

Do you have any experience using FedEx couier services in Saudia for sending passports to LVO & how LVO send passports back to Saudi? Do I have to visit personally to Canadian embassy riyad and collect them personally?

Kindly advice as I have to dispatch my passports within this week.

I sent my pp using DHL but they told that they will not pick it up. Did vo ask u to pick up ur passport?? What happened please??

This must be a lesson to every expat living in Saudi Arabia. Before leaving Saudi Arabia for good, one must take a PCC, because we would never know one day in the future we will be required to submit one. Please tell all your friends in Saudi Arabia, whether or not they have plans to migrate to Canada or somewhere else, it is a best practice to get Saudi Arabia PCC before leaving Saudi Arabia for good.

Hi aspire, i am a filipino nurse like you. I will be working in tabuk, KSA soon and im planning to apply as a federal skilled worker in canada while im working in saudi arabia. I just want to ask for help about how did you got an employer? Do i need to have an employer before i apply as FSW? What are the requirements do i need to pass? Thank you

I am planning to give my landing in july InshahAllah and spent 30 days and return back to Saudi. My question is what if I did not received my PR card within that 30 days as the maximum time to deliver of PR card is 58 days.

Do you think it would be a risk, if one has not received his PR card and still he is traveling outside Canada.

Based on the forum people experince I have noticed that if they need something from you either picture or signature, they (CIC) will give you a call within a week else they don't need you if they have not contacted you in that week and the card always deliver by post as well, so there is no question to collect the card in a person.

Once my friend received my PR card he will dispatch me on my mailing addresss in Saudia. What is your advice & suggest on this subject?

according to the new regulation, they will take maximum 9 months for PPR. i am at the same phase, good luck

You should loop them and inform them, which you will stay for 30 days, you should receive the PR within 30 days. you can leave your phone No. at the airport in order to let them contact you for the PR delivery. or you can provide them with any of your relative or friend's mailing address and they will sent it to that address. Your friend will do the rest. I am planning to do the same. Staying for 30 days and return back. GOOD LLUCK

dear,

any law firm within jeddah will certify your copies that you choose, i am from al-khobar, so dont have any idea about law firms of jeddah, an attorney is authorized in saudi to verify and stamp your copies as ok, as per my experience, i visited one of the law firm and the attorney just checked my original certificates and put stamp on the photocopies, thats all.

in regards to PCC, the visa office will send you a arabic letter(request letter in arabic to police authority), and you have to take that arabic letter to chamber of commerce for stamp, then you will take it to police station to get PCC.

regarding the PCC, no need for COC stamp, go directly to the H/Q of police station, thats it.
