Do we need to notarize those documents that are indicated as "copies" as per IRCC checklist (i.e. birth & marriage certificates, passports, ielts)? If yes, how did you do it in UAE?

I don't think a notary public will do it in Oman without an attestation from our embassy, which is too costly as those are charged per document. :(

yes, notarize all documents which stated "copies"... better to send it to Philippines by DHL kabayan where you can notarize it 100php/document.
