Yesterday I got an email from cic saying that my application has been updated and asked me to login to my account to check the status/message. Upon login, there is no change in status and no new message.

Has anyone faced similar thing before? Appreciate your feedback.

Also, is it worth calling the cic call centre to know the status?

monsij, sometimes its late general response from CIC.. like mine.. I received first AOR then after few days I got similar email like yours when I check it nothing changed..

CSE is better but they will respond only if your application is beyond their processing time..

I received my AOR-1 in just 48 days. File received by NS on 26/01/17 and AOR-1 received on 15/03/17.

Unfortunately the mail was deleted by me. Yesterday I checked my TRASH mail and I was surprised.

Thanks all for help me in my unavoidable waiting time......Now waiting for FT mail.

No. I have not yet received my AOR1 email. Below is my exact status. Planning to call CIC call centre tonight.

GCKEY:

Application status: We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Review of additional documents: Not applicable.

Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check: Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.

Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


ONLINE SERVICES :

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 30, 2017.

2. We started processing your application on March 18, 2017.

with the status above, they just didn't sent your AOR mail.. but they acknowledge your application on March 18.. so wait for the AOR2 bro..

Hello Everyone..


I am in very bad position. my application received at CIO on 22 feb.

1. I could not able to link my application...
2. By mistake i did not mentioned my email in Generic form.(But later I sent again generic form with LOE Include my email- received at CIO on 24 March)

I am Worry

- is my email updated with my application or not because there is no any application number mentioned.

How to confirm ...?

If not then how I can get the updates ...?
