I also need police certificate from hong kong. I heard we need to give finger prints for that...do we need to go to hongkong for that?

For my case, which is Singapore police clearance, I have to book an appointment with local Singapore embassy to take finger prints and submit the pc application to Spore. The process takes ard 1 month to get the result.

seems singapore police certificate is a little different from hong kong. for hong kong any legal finger print institute is accepted and we can mail the docs to hong kong. anyway both of them is time consuming and we can not do it in advance. so bad

My real sister lives in Toronto & she will planing a function in April.
she has sent me Sponsorship Papers & All related documents for Visitor Visa.

Should I apply or not for Tourist Visa.? (I am SINP OID applicant.)

Yeah true. Wasting another 1 month time

Actually we can get the fingerprint from any legal entity. However I prefer to do it at Singapore Embassy, in case they might say that the fingerprint were not taking according to their requirement.

Anyway, let's wait for the requesting letter as we cannot do anything now.

Yes I think you can. No harm paying a visit trip to Canada to see the real environment to see if it fits you well.
