We applied under SINP family category last Sept. 26, 2011...We are still waitng for the provincial certificate from the SK immigration..GOD willing we will have it by this month or ant time this year....Is there anybody from the group who have the same situation that I have? Please do share...

Applied for SINP skilled Worker with Job offer November 2011 through Immigration Consultant based in Regina

UK/Welsh Citizen

Employer received phonecall from SINP 29 August to verify Job offer and company

Still waiting for Nomination

Arranging jobs and charging money against it is ILLEGAL activity. NO ONE is allowed to charge money against arranging jobs. That is why legitimate and licensed consultants like Amir Ismail will never arrange jobs or charge money. Those who charge money to arrange jobs are contravening the law and are committing and indictable offence. Even recruitment agents in Canada who deal in this area are not authorized to charge a single penny from prospective job seekers/employee.

Save yourself thousand of dollars and do not fall prey to the unlicensed ghost agents in local market. In fact, report them to CIC and Canadian High Commission in Islamabad and ICCRC when you come across someone asking money against arranging a job offer from Canada.

Hi! I am a visitor in this country but tried applying for SINP.
I applied for mine January 2012, skilled worker category.
I brought all the application package in Hamilton office, here in Regina.
I was emailed a confirmation via email that they received my application w/ file number last Feb. 18, 2012
I never heard anything at all after their last email. (can't track down my application since I didn't do it online. I just keep extending my tourist visa, to stay legally here while waiting for nomination)

Hoping for input from u all about my situation. Wanna know how big is the chance that I will be nominated (since they gave me file number) & what's the next step after that?
