As the primary applicant, I have submitted my application for the Skilled Worker program, and I currently hold a valid work permit. I am residing and working in Regina, and my spouse is a student in Montreal.
During a recent conversation with SINP, I was informed that the location of my spouse's residence in Montreal would not pose an issue for my application, and I am eligible to apply for the program that requires six months of previous work experience.
Approximately ten days ago, I submitted my application, and yesterday I received a request for additional documents, specifically from my spouse. SINP has requested the following:
- Valid study or work permit for my spouse.
- Valid SK health card and ID card for my spouse.
- Recent paystubs for my spouse.
To ensure that all the requested documents are related to my spouse, I contacted SINP, and they confirmed that all the mentioned documents pertain to my spouse.
However, I am puzzled as I clearly stated in my application that my spouse does not reside in Regina but is a student in Montreal. I am curious about why SINP is requesting my spouse's Saskatchewan health card and, on the other hand, the employment paystubs.
Could you please shed light on the reasons behind these requests? I want to ensure that I provide the necessary documentation accurately.
Additionally, considering these circumstances, is there a possibility of our application being rejected? I want to address any concerns promptly to ensure a smooth processing of our application.
