Hello,
Please, I need your help and clarification as I am stuck at this point yet to submit my EE as I'm not sure if my current job qualifies me for Sasks PNP.

From 2008 to 2014 I worked as a Software Engineer (NOC 2173). And, from 2014 till date, I now work as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst (NOC 2171).
I intend applying to Saskatchewan PNP, however, I realized that my current job NOC (2171) is not listed in Occupation in Demand list, whereas my previous job experience/roles - Software Engineer (NOC 2173) was listed but requires me to Provide documentation from the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS) showing membership license or equivalent which I think is a very long route.

Kindly advise me on what to do. Are the occupations in the SINP In-Demand Occupation List all that Sasks demands?

Thanks.

SINP-EE is no longer open. You will need to wait for it (or SINP-OID) to open again.

Your NOC needs to be in the dropdown list of NOCs while applying for the program, EE or OID.

Since NOC 2173 is in the list (as per your message) are you scoring 60 points or above ? If yes, apply in 2173 and work on the CIPS license documentation at the same time. Your application will be processed, but you will get your PR only after you provide the CIPS license.

However, if NOC 2173 is not what you wish to pursue in the future you may want to evaluate the effort/cost involved for something you do not plan to pursue as a career.

However, if you are committed to do what it takes to reach Canada, and subsequently re-evaluate your career choice basis practicalities, you could try with NOC 2173.

Good Luck !

How can you know where will it open again ? I have been waiting for it to open for months but unfortunately I was busy these days and did not know that it will open.
U just need to be logged in and keep checking already once in an hour, during sinp office timings. No other option.

OK Thank you very much.
I honestly do not wish to pursue 2173 in the future. 2171 is what I intend to pursue. Based on your response, paying and pursuing the license isn't a feasible option.

I was wondering if I'm actually looking at the main list:

The NOC 2171 is here in the list below

http://goog_355679882/
http://www.canadaexpressentry.org/provincial-nominee-program/saskatchewan.php
The NOC 2171 is not here in the list below.

Does anyone have the main list, if 2171 is there, i would gladly submit and work towards this since it doesn't require any license.

Apologies for the long epistle...
