Just to keep you guys aware about our timeline.

Here is our timeline:

15-07-2016 – App received in Mississauga
05-08-2016 – AOR1
24-08-2016 – SA Received/Transferred to Sao Paulo
01-09-2016 – AOR2 (Never got an email, got this info on ecas “We start processing your app on 01-09-2016)
18-10-2016 – A background check is needed changed to In Progress on MyCIC
17-11-2016 – PPR (I was not copied in the PPR email)

Just read on another forum that member #8 on this forums most recent list got her PPR (I think today) this is great, August applicants are getting their PPR already. Hopefully everyone will be with their loved ones in no time

Wow that's a good sign you might receive your PPR after you pay residency fee

Now that's for anyone who may know the answer: Did MyCIC send you information on your email telling background check was in process and to request your passport? The email was to Sponsor and Principal Applicant?

I still haven't paid my Permandent Residence Fee, I was planning on paying it by early January. Have you already paid it?

I got an email saying that there was an update in MyCIC on Nov 12, however, the Bckg check changed to in progress on Nov 11 and my husband (PA) received the PPR email from spvo on Nov 11 as well.

I was not copied in the email from spvo with PPR, only my hubby.

I am the sponsor and on MyCIC, my email was the registered one for updates.

From what I noticed, once MyCIC bckg check changes to in progress, the PPR comes right after.

Hey, I'm #19 of the list! Last week I got a second line on ecas saying that they started processing my app on Nov 14 in SP, I was wondering how long it took for you guys to receive an update about your medical exams. Thanks a lot!

Hello Ligia,

We did our upfront (before sending process to Mississauga) . It took about 2 months to display.

On ECAS just says they were received. MyCIC says "passed" but none of them has any date associated.
