Hello Guys!

The Consulate asked me yesterday to send my passport to stamp the visa.

My package already on APRIL 4.
SEP 27: They asked me for one more document arriving in SP on Oct 4
OCT 24: Passport Request

So, it took 7 months. I didn't know what to do in the beginning, but 'outland' was the best one.

Hello Guys, i need some help and suggestions on how to apply for my wife PR.

I recently got PR in july and got married in October in India. My wife is brazilian and i am all set to apply for her pr in some days. Can someone explain me about the process. Do i have to send her application to Ontario office and then immigration will send it to Brazil office?

Hi everyone! Ive been following these forums for the past year since my husband (Brazilian) and I got married. Its only til now Ive decided to make an account for us but cant thank everyone on here enough for your constant support and guidance!!

That being said, here are our details

Application recieved: May 13 2013
Sponsor approval: June 15 2013
In Process: October 10 2013

We were very surprised that it said 'In Process' already, as we were banking on that taking at least until next year some time. My husband hasnt heard anything about sending his passport so i really dont know what to expect as far as sequence of events/timelines from this point.

Any odeas what to expect once you see the In Process???

Hi thecoopers!

You and i have pretty much the same timeline!!
I also got ' in process ' octobert 10th . And im also a may applicant.
As far as i know being in process means we are close to the end. But how close im not sure. Some ppl that got ' in process' after us already got their ppr and some p who got i before are still waiting on the ppr. So its hard to tell in which stage we actually are inside the 'in process'.

Ill keep u update id ive any changes on my file for your reference. Plz let me know about yours too!

And last week they resquested passport.

when did u send them ur CSQ? u sent it by mail or email? did u get a confirmation that they received it?
i sent mine by email but got no confirmation...

I scanned it and sent it, but they never answered me, but that's okay!

I have good news! I think lol.. My husband received an email yesterday stating that "our application has been processed to the stage where med exams are now required."
So he made the a appointment for next week.

We didn't receive an AOR from the São Paulo office, which I was kind of nervous about, but since we got this, now it know they received it!

I'm really hoping this means they've reviewed our application and just need to know he's healthy now! Haha, maybe not though. It looks like most people on the spreadsheet had their meds done in advance (which wasn't possible for us) so I can't estimate the timeline. But oh well! I'm happy. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Apparently they are working pretty fast now! Soon you guys will be able to be back to Canada!
I just received my COPR yesterday!!!
I'm so super happy and can't wait to be with my man again!!!
