Dear All,

I am going to apply for the study permit in the next few days.
I would really appreciate if any of you can give me a sample study plan/SOP letter or draft!

I do not plan to copy it but I need to read a few in order to get a grip of what is required to be put in this supporting document.

My consultant was working on this but I had a fall out with him on various reasons. Now, I have the task at hand alone and with no guidance.

what points should I put in?
word limit?
will my SOP for the university's admission work with the CHC???

I am running out of time and really screwed up!!

Would really appreciate if some one helps!!

Thanks!

I've been reading on this forum that there are ppl here who got rejected for having no travel history??
I have only visited 2 countries in my entire life time and the most recent visit was in 2005 June. What about that? How to accommodate this point in my SOP.

you should apply online...so you dont need any SOP

I will apply to CHC-Islamabad, are you applying there too?

I went to Gerry and TCS office in Karachi, they handed over me a checklist and told me to bring these forms completed along with all the stated supporting documents and give it to us with the fee voucher.

Is there any other method to apply too?

There is no need to talk about your travel history in your SOP which CIC calls a study plan.

Your study plan should explain the following points but may not be limited to:

i. The reason you chose Canada for your studies.
ii. The reason you selected the particular program.
iii. The overall goal of your career.

These are the three main points you have to write about. In doing so, it will be good if you can prove some home ties as well.

My suggestion would be to be completely honest about the reasons. You have to prove yourself as a bonafide international student.

yes i m also talking abt chc islamabad...online is faster than paper based and also need limited documents

Can you guide me with that? Thing is that I all the visa processing was being managed by my consultant but then he
messed up few things and I had a fall out with him and now I am doing it all by my self! I work aswell therefore I find it
difficult to take out time to properly sit down with this visa stuff!

So how do I apply online in Pakistan?
I mean you have to fill all the forms and then validate them and then take a print out of them and submit it to the embassy with all other
supporting documents via courier? What type of application method is this? Paper based or online?

Kindly guide me bro!
