Same sex sponsorship

Hi.. my spouse has been in a common-law relation with a woman and they had a child 4 years ago.
She knew he was gay when they tried to work it out.
Now.. we're together (20 months) and married (about 3 months) and are going to be sending in our application as soon as my medical exam is done, in two weeks and I am a bit worried.
What concerns me is that they might think he is not even gay because he has a daughter.
Should I be worried?

Maybe just try and be as honest as you can with CIC, and maybe if you are still in contact with the child's mother get a reference or letter from her? I'm sure CIC will understand as long as you can prove that you and your partners relationship is genuine, good luck

We're being honest in all aspects. He does not have any contact with his ex and I don't have any contact with her either but I know his daughter and we have pictures together.
