Hi i just came here in canada 2 months ago, i have a gf in the philippines and i'm planning to sponsor her... We've been together for 5 years, now my question is how can i sponsor her? Is it common law or just the general stream for distant friend? Pls help i need some advice from you guys, i'm living with my aunt as of the moment here in winnipeg... :)

You can only sponsor her as common law if you have lived together for at least one full year. Did you live together for at least one full year before you came to Canada?

You have 4 choices.
1) live together for 12 continuous months.
2) get married
3) try and prove a conjugal couple (difficult)
4) she immigrates to Canada under her own merit.

How about the 3rd option..... What are the proofs that they need?... If it's not possible, im planning to sponsor her under general stream like distant relative.... :-[

There is no stream for sponsoring a distant relative.

For the 3rd option, you will have to prove that you have a marriage-like relationship without being married or common law. You should be able to show as many of the following as possible: joint bank accounts, joint property ownership, insurance policies mentioning each other, wills mentioning each other as beneficiaries, evidence of vacations / travel you have done together, proof of extensive emails / phone calls, letters from family / friends confirming your relationship, etc.
