I was browsing through this forum and came across a person whose study permit was rejected because the major he's applying to in Canada is available in his country.
I'm an electrical engineering major, I already did my first year in my country and then applied as a transfer student, also electrical engineering, to a university in Canada... Will that be a reason to reject my study permit?! If yes, during the interview, my interviewer didn't ask me why I want to study in Canada...
I already got my university acceptance and CAQ (since I applied to Montreal).
