Same Employer for more than 3 years

Hi Seniors & Friends,

I have following 2 questions

1) I am working with the same employer for more than 3 years. But I have got work permits every year with different jobtitle and it is falling in 2174 and 2173.
Is it ok to have one entry in the IMM0008 - Schedule 8 - Economic Classes - CEC application? or should I have individual entry for each work permit?


2) My wife is working here in open work permit, what should I speficy her Status in the IMM0008 - Generic application form, under the dependent ,
country of residence section. it didnt specify the dependent, should I select Other, and mention "In Dependent Visa and working with Open Work Permit"?

For 1 )

You should write as per the duties you are carrying. It is must that it reflects your NOC code. So if you feel that as per your work permit you are working under 2174 and 2173 then specify the duties and perioed according to your work permit. That is what I did.

For 2 ) I had same case. I wrote her status as "worker" as it has been changed as she was having work permit.

I had the same situation, for some reason HRSDC put a different NOC for the 2nd work permit - but it was a very similar NOC (like in your case). I listed the job as one entry (since my title/duties did not change) and used the NOC on the most recent work permit
