Hello Fellow Applicants,
While applying for citizenship, I provided the same email id for my spouse and kid. I am wondering if this will cause any issues in taking the online citizenship test (because it will ask for the email id provided in the application) - as in expecting a unique email id for each test taker.
Has anyone encountered this situation?

Hmmm. I don't see how this is going to be a problem. For the test, you don't have to provide an email ID to get the test link if you've already provided an email with the application. You can take the test after your spouse does or vice-versa (if you guys get the test invitation around the same time).

How do you mean "expecting a unique email id for each test taker"? If that's the case, when you or your spouse take the test, either of you can provide a different email ID and the test link will be sent to that email ID but that shouldn't be necessary.

Thanks. Maybe my thinking is influenced by the fact that for most things online email is a unique identifier - two accounts cannot have same email id. I guess that will not be applicable here.
I will provide an update here once I have gone through the process. Me and my spouse, both received the test invite today - Oct 2019 applicants.

I kept the same contact number and email for all the 4 applications that I submitted recently
Each application has a separate UCI#
It’s not an issue

No issues. Mine and my son's AOR came to the same email account without any issue.

Online tracker is based on UCI and also they just use the email to send security code during registration. I have online accounts for both - No issues.

Thanks everyone.

Hello Everyone,
Me and my wife, both of us successfully completed the citizenship test. There were no issues with having the same email id for both of us.

Not a problem. We are 5 in my family and we used my email address. For AOR, for example, I received 5 separate emails one per each member of the family.
