Salvage Title car import from U.S

Hi all,

I am thinking to import a salvage title car from U.S to Canada. I got it for almost free. It runs great and has At least 50,000 miles more to put on. I see there are additional inspection requirements for salvage cars in Canada before registration. Does anyone has any experience/thoughts if this is a good idea.
