If you can get reference Letter from your manager(employer(s)) in the format specified by Ontario. Then You dont have to show any other documents.
But If you are not able to provide the requested letter and Giving LOE, then you need to provide any available document to prove your employment claims.

As per the application guide, Paystubs are required. It is better to attach latest three months payslips.

You definitely should attach 3-6 months of payslips. Even for previous jobs please try to send across your payslips for 3 months.

Original Pay slips always make your case strong enough compared to cash vouchers. Any company will retain the pay slips. Try to contact your HR. They should be definitely of help to you.

Hmm ok , thing is i have moved from my home town where i was working and as it is it was a royal pain in the *** to get reference letter from them. So unless its absolutely mandatory to get salary slips it will be a boon for me if i can work with the ctc mentioned on my ref. letter.
Experts please help.

The 'Application Guide' categorizes pay-stubs/salary slips as 'Additional Supporting Documents'

Supporting documents (FSWP and CEC)
You must submit the following documents to prove your work experience if you choose to be assessed against FSWP criteria or CEC criteria:
 Copy of current résumé indicating relevant work experience.
 Copies of employment reference letters from previous/current employers for all periods of work stated in the application that meet the following requirements:
o Printed on company letterhead and identify company address, telephone/fax numbers, email, and website addresses;
o Identify the responsible Officer/Supervisor and include his/her signature;
o Stamped with the company’s corporate seal (if applicable); AND
o Specify:
 Your employment period;
 Your positions held, duties and responsibilities during the employment period for each position, and the time spent in each position (if applicable);
 Your total annual salary plus benefits;
 Number of hours worked per week; and
 Any extended periods of leave (i.e., more than one month).

Additional supporting documents may include:
 Copy of work contracts; and
 Copy of pay stubs.
In my case, I had to provide copies of my pay stubs and also my appointment letters as my reference letters did not specify the 'annual salary plus benefits' the organizations I worked for provided me with.

I guess you do not have to submit your salary slips, but it wouldn't hurt to go overboard and send them along with your other documents. Like others suggested here, it is better to have the original pay slips, just in case. And it would be even more of a pain if Ontario were to ask you for salary slips later during the process and you don't have them handy! :)

Its very confusing they haven't clearly mentioned if salary slips are necessary. They have written "additional supporting documents MAy include ". Thing is i have the reference letter written in the format as they want , with the wordings matching my NOC and the annual CTC written on the letter with the roles and responsibilities duly signed by my supervisor. But yes you are right its better to safe than sorry. I guess i'll have to make another trip to my hometown :mad:

I am thinking of adding pay slips to make my case stronger (in addition to experience certificates). Does anyone know if these pay slips really have to be translated when it is an additional document? Can I just highlight my name, employer's name, reference period and gross salary? For some jobs, I received weekly pay stubs. I cannot get them all translated. If they have to be translated, would one translation suffice (always the same format)?

Pay slips aren't mandatory. They may be provided as supporting evidence if the reference letter doesn't mention salary. In your case, it does. So you can avoid that distressing trip to your hometown.

All the best!
