Salary slips dilemma

Hey,
I have a question regarding salary slips about my previous company. I used to work in a company where company used to provide me salary in cash because the company was not big enough. But i have company’s genuine relieving letter where it mentioned my salary, position, work period etc. And i got my study visa for Canada on the basis of that certificate. I need to know that can i apply for PR also with this job experience letter because I don’t have any salary slips as I mentioned that company was not big enough that time.

When you apply it says to include pay slips if you have them. Based on the description that does not seem mandatory, but maybe someone will weigh in. For example for my old jobs I just don't have pay slips anymore because it was so long ago that I haven't saved them, and I assume that would be fine.

But at the time of applying student visa, it did not ask me to include pay slips and in my experience letter it was clearly mentioned that i was receiving salary in cash, and on the basis of that i got student visa. But there is little confusion in my mind that will the procedure for applying PR be the same as at the time of applying the student visa and will the immigration again accept only my experience letter without pay slips??

Hi have you received any response because i am on a same boat but the difference is i haven't applied for study visa yet so please suggest what documents i should collect so i will not face any difficulties in the future
