Salary proof issues

If my salary was not in account as well as I do nit have my salary slips but I hava a refrence letter as well as a salary certificate issued by company would that be enough for my salary proof ? One more thing,on both of these documents" it is nowhere mentioned that my salary was in cash ".

And do we need any extra certification to apply for EE
