I am working as a RA in an Indian university.
I am working there since March 2017. I received salary for 10 months approx (i.e. March'17, April'17, May'17, August'17, September'17, October'17, December'17, January'18, February'18, March'18), but I am working there continuously (since March 2017).
The reason for not receiving the salary was my tenure expired and the project was not processed officially for certain period of time but I was working on the project continuously with my professor and then the project was processed in the back date. So in a gist, on paper the project is processed and is still in the working mode on paper and in the reality. So for that phase and months I didn't receive my salary but I was working.
Now while filing for my EE profile I need to write the duration of my work experience. I have worked for 9 months (my first job as a Junior Project Fellow) and then as a RA (from March 2017 to till date). So my total number of months of experience is 25 months. I can get salary certificate from my first organisation stating I have received XXX amount for those 9 months, but what should I tell my professor to write in my current organisation salary certificate?
1. Should I ask my professor to write that I have been receiving salary for all these 17 months (from March 2017 to August 2018)? But I won't have the bank details to support if the EE people ask for the bank details.
2. When one is submitting the salary certificate does one need to support it with the bank statement showing where they received the salary?
3. Should I ask my professor to write that I received salary for only 10 months and not for the other months stating the reasons for not receiving but I was working with her on the research project?
a. If this, then what should be the content of that letter in which we will be stating the reason for not receiving the salary?
b. Has anyone done this stating the reason and got their ITA and PR approved?
4. Also does those months where I didn't get my salary but I worked will be counted as work experience in the EE profile?
