LOL. Yes Canada does have a shortage of healthcare workers but this course they are offering is a Red Cross First Responder course. It has nothing to add to the shortage of doctors and nurses. Eight dollars and hour is less than the minimum wage. You make that at McDonalds.

This is not a Safety Officer course.

Very sad. Information is power. People should always go through and check the official Canadian govt. sites for actual rules & procedures, before falling prey to such unscrupulous agents.

This is a first aid course. I've taken it. It does not cost $700 and it is a course that for me was broken up over 2 weekends.

Gentleman,Actually you are looking for security officer and have asked about the safety officer. Security officer jobs can be available if there is space or demanded by the any institution in Canada but safety officer is a health related job not security regarding.

Its a scam to take your money. You do not need a course to become a security guard in Canada. You would be trained by the security company that hires you and then receive your licence. When you get to Canada you can take a first aid course which will cost about $150. Once you have that you can apply at any number of security companies. The rate of pay is anywhere from $12/hour to $15/hour depending on the shift and the duty.

Its a scam i got hit by it personally. YOU DONT NEED A STUDENT VISA FOR ANY COURSE WHICH IS SHORTER THAN 6 MONTHS. None of the cases got approved from the embassy yet and none of the students ever got to canada ever for this course. Even those colleges are furious now.

Now, its been 3 years that I am working in Canada as Safety Officer.

We have made group of Pakistani Safety Officers in Canada and helping new comers by providing them right information.

Canada is land of opportunities but rules are very strict here.

Now we are 8 Pakistani Safety Officers are together in Macko Group. in Toronto.
