Yeah, its probably false advertising.

they offer minimum wage and the training is negligible.

Its usually a dead end job for a lot of uncle ji's who have minimum english skills.

Safety Officer is not the same as security officer.

Safety officers are involved in occupational health and safety standards within a company. I would advise taking training for this through a community college as opposed to a private company.

Safety officer is often confused with Security Officer, although the terms are interchanged.

Also, the occupational health and safety is a very specialized field that would require more than just a few years of education (probably certifications on top of formal education).

I would be really surprised if they are advertising TRAINING + WORK for an actual Occ. Safety Officer jobs.

to the OP, is the training in Pakistan and a job offer to work in Canada once training is complete? If yes, that should tell you something.

This is an ad for a security guard. I would consider this a scam. They are close to minimum wage jobs that can easily get Candian workers to fill.

Crap!

I think i may have wasted 1000's of $$ on a university education when i could have just spent $700 for a month's training and been making $17-20$ an hour in no time.

and they also tell you that Canada does not need IT professionals, Accountants etc but health care workers. and you can become one in 1 MONTH.

But i guess people still fall for it

Very likely its a scam, as everybody on this forum has said.

If you still want to waste $700 and a month of your life, your call.
