umm..i dont know..but every article and news that i have read so far on this thing.....it included LONDON...as one of the locations that are being affected because of the strike...i just have no comments about this people...also, i tried posting questions and asked why they are doing this...on the official PAFSO facebook page..and guess what they did...they restricted me...so that i cannot comment or like ..or even post a thing.....that completely shows how they don't care at all...this just makes me soooo mad that i can end up doing anything. >:(

Okay, so you know how they blocked me out from commenting on their page and all that....does that going to affect my application in any way? like are they going to screw my application over just because i was mad at them there? that wont be fair though, like...i dont know cause, they are capable of doing anything. :(

daer anikazz no use of making comments as it is of no use. as things are not in our hand or we can effect on it.just wait and see. well here in this forum we come and share so we can update ourselves

@tashford : Whats the use of following Tim Edward on Tweeter,as the strike won't get over until the Canadian Govt. doesnot sit on table with them and negotiate on salaries issue !

I just received an email requesting some detailed information for a few forms, which suggests that they did not stop working yet, but reviewing the applications...yet very slow. anyways, hopefully, they will get over their strike very soon and take over the processes in a timely manner. :)

Hi Simple, I also got PPR on 31st May and my passport was received on 4th June. Now waiting to get it back.

Got my an email from CHC London saying my work permit has been approved. I applied on 29th of April and got the decision on the 28th of June, it took about 8 weeks.

I think CHC London is working regardless of the strike.

My mother-in-law is getting her PR through London. Application received mid sept 2012. Sponsorship gained in oct. She went for her interview last week to the High Commission and had only got the date for it after the strike started so they are working on PR's. I'm stuck inside Canada and the PR workers in Vegreville have been transferred to work on visitor, work and student visas so I'm 9 months in and not even got sponsorship yet. Not processed any for 12 weeks.

Strike still ON guys so just wait with crossed fingers !
