Sad news for all those (including me) who have applied for Immigration to Canada through LONDON VISA OFFICE.

The Foreign Service Officers in London Visa office (Immigration dept) have gone on strike until further notice

GOOD NEWS.....
The London office is still working and not effected by the global strike. on another hand, the professional association of foreign service officers are returning to the negotiations table for a revised offer to the foreign services offers today.... Hopefully the strike will end soon.

@Doda : Thanks for sharing and hope its true that LONDON VISA OFFICE is not effected with the strikes of FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICERS !

Hi,
I am a canadian pr and have applied for my husband through london office, and the application time has been increasing for the few months, and we should be done by august. I just heard the strike news and that the workers are walking out of the offices and there might be delays. Its been a long time i have seen my husband and i am tired of waiting now :'(. they dont realize how painful it is to stay away from a loved one...especially when you are newly married. They stay with their families and make us wait forever. I am so scared if this strike is going to delay my process? please please please, tell me. I am freaking out here, and i cant take it anymore :'(.

If you're application is being processed at the London office the. His this is more than likely going to delay the process. Sorry

@Anikazz : Dear we all are in same boat (Waiting for STRIKE to get over and the immigration officers resume their work in london visa office)

CHC London does seem to be working at least for TRV

i honestly, no offence, do not get why they are only thinking about themselves and making everyone suffer? and also, it would help if we at least knew when the strike MIGHT be over....but now its a hopeless wait.... :-[

FYI... the strike is not effecting the work in LONDON CHC... a couple of applicants I know received their TRV & student permits these days. Hoping for the best soon inshallah.

umm..i dont know..but every article and news that i have read so far on this thing.....it included LONDON...as one of the locations that are being affected because of the strike...i just have no comments about this people...also, i tried posting questions and asked why they are doing this...on the official PAFSO facebook page..and guess what they did...they restricted me...so that i cannot comment or like ..or even post a thing.....that completely shows how they don't care at all...this just makes me soooo mad that i can end up doing anything.
