Applying to TAke Post-Deg Diploma in Biz Admin, 2 yrs. LOA indicates 16 week practicum. Sister to cover costs. I note modest annual income for declared employment of PA - PHP340K. Own funds/savings of PA low - bank balance of PHP226k shows ave. daily balance of PHP11k, I note limited travel history - Asia. PA is married, has 2 dep children. Spouse applying for open WP. Study plan seen. Unclear why PA is taking program at this time or why a similar program would not have been pursued until this time locally or regionally at less cost and higher convenience given the costs. While PA presents related educ (Biz Admin, 2002), it is unclear how program of study is relevant to PA's declared work experience (customer service rep). I note PA has not had any further educ taken since 2002. Presents weak econ ties to the home country, to compel departure from Canada after a period of stay. Appl refused. Appln of spouse is also refused.

Any thoughts guys or recommendation?? I wanted to not pursue CANADA anymore but my sibling who's a citizen there is pushing us to make a work around and get through this. I know I need to work on my Study plan and address things that are not clear to the VO pero nahirapan na ako sa kalisud oi. lisura man aning study plan jd. regarding my study program being not related to my work experience, basin ngita ko lain course?? I really dont know. I need to find a way pa how to increase our personal savings account -- pila jd kaha dapat naa sa savings accounts nga sponsored man ko sa ako sister, and she has presented well enough funds. travel history? pwede kaha mag apply ko visitor visa sa CAnada?? ingun ako sis na amg visitor visa sa for now and by July re-apply ko student visa but ambot galibog ko unsa akong buhaton. please heeelllppppp!

hi, sorry I wasn't able to reply immediately to your concern. Unta makabalik ka to read this reply, I haven't been around because of studies and I was working full time over the holidays. Anyway, gamay ra kaayo ang naa sa imo bank account, mao nang na-refuse ka. Dili clear sa ako kung nagpresent sad ug financial documents imo sister? You must show enough to pay for your tuition plus CAD10,000 per year of study plus additional CAD4000 for a family member.
Dili ko ka-advise nimo clearly kung wala koy details sa imo background pud. Sa tan-aw nako, financial ang reason ngano gi-refuse ka. Let me know

Hi again, sorry karon ra ko katubag nimo, dugay na pud ko wala diri. Yes, pwede ka mutake ug culinary diri. Pero unsa man imo background diha, have you had professional work related to your degree? Kay it might be more practical to take an Education course sa in your application and then switch to culinary once you get your visa. Pero please give me your background first.

I know one of the people in the Pinoy Students thread applied from Abu Dhabi or somewhere then got approved. Pero it's always a challenge for students man gud nga Philippine ang citizenship unya working abroad na. You have to prove you have enough ties to the Philippines so that you can return (theoretically) if needed. Lisod kung wala na ka sa country for a long time. It's challenging but not impossible. Unsa man ang imo background? What has your work experience been like?

t_rizvil I don't know lang if you can find a reputable institution nga less than 6,500 ang tuition. My tuition in Centennial is about CAD14K a year, mao na ang reasonable. I don't advise going to fly by night colleges or kanang mga wa-il kay lisud na unya, dako baya na nga kwarta

Well base sa akong nabasa dri sa forum madala ra sya if completo na imong mga documents including the acceptance letter from your school and maka lodge ka sa imong application this month or by first week of february. That is safe pa ka ana but gamay nlang imo time maka prepare for canada hehe. Additionally, as long as you have a strong SOP lang jud pra ma convince ang VO.

Anyway check the timelines of the señiors here ani nga forum and also sa other forum pero mga tagalog sila ddto kasagaran hehe. Check ang timeline ni Mic2 sa other forum you will see that it only took him 2 months nga na approve iya student visa.

Wala pa ko ng apply ng search2 pa ko asa ko nga school jud but planning to take centinnial college in ontario ky sila ray school nga ng offer ug related sa akong course so far. But also looking in alberta nga side ky toa man pud ako relatives hehe. Anyway, still gathering pa kos document nko. Planning to apply on March/April for september intake ba..hehe

Medyo apiki na ka for May. Did you take the IELTS already?
Better siguro kung muapply ka for September 2017 (Fall), but you have to start choosing your school, plan for your IELTS, etc. now na.
Also, I don't know which province you want to go to? If Toronto ka, any established college like Centennial, Humber or Seneca is okay. Halos pareha ra sila og tuition.

Centennial is okay. My experience here has been good man pud. Pero dili sad lalim, but if Pinoy kaya ra kaayo. Also, Toronto is the best for me hahahah ayaw sa mga mingaw nga suburbs. Algonquin is in Ottawa so probably not that bad, but again, I would say Centennial, Humber or Seneca

As for timelines, it usually takes 2-3 months when I applied. Nadugay lang ko kay nasangit ko sa medical
