Rules in ICT W1 for Ontario

Am going to Canada on ICT(W1). I shall be working under the payroll of XYZ company (example) for ABC client. My W1 is valid for 3 years.
Once the project ends for ABC client after 8 months, can I start working for a new DEF client in the same province under the same XYZ company payroll or my company XYZ has to do a visa amendment for that. If yes what will be the approximate charge in CAD.

All what matters is the company you work for and not who you provide service to. So, no change to your work permit will be necessary.

Are you referring to a closed work permit which has only one location mentioned as authorized to work at?

yes, its intra company transfer (company XYZ) for mississauga location.
