RTD application

can someone please tell me whats the process for applying for RTD and the documents thats needs to be submitted
Also is it issued to someone who is receiving social assistance

Being on social assistance will not affect.

You will have to notify welfare department if you will be out of Canada for a certain period of time. Not sure how long but guessing over 1-2 weeks. Social assistance may be paused until you are back in Canada.

For RTD application they are asking for the notice of decision (originAl) will they return the original copy or not???Becuase iwant to keep it with me while traveling

Shouldn't ask for the original and would encourage you to not travel with the original notice of decision. Travel with a photocopy. Things get lost or stolen. Keep your originals at home and somewhere safe!

Yes you do have to send the original copy of your "Notice of Decision". Don't worry they will return it to you with your RTD in mail.
But when applying for permanent residence, only a photocopy of your "Notice of Decision"is sufficient.

Ok. Follow the website instructions. Wouldn't travel with the original. Photocopies are much safer. Would also suggest a photocopy of your RTD. Keep them in different places in case you get pickpocketed or your luggage gets lost.
