No. PR & citizenship are completely separate processes. No Link b/w PR RQ & Citizen ship application RQ.

For PR, they don't issue RQ, they issue Determination of Permanent Residence Status IMM-5511 and for citizenship, they issue, Residence Questionnaire CIT0171

Paperwork may be called/labelled differently but if you've been RQ'd or asked for more documents at the PR renewal process, expect the same treatment for the citizenship process.

It's what I thought but people here think different.

Even if they are 2 separate process, I'd expect the officer to cross-check info from your records.

I was told by settlement worker that if you got a questionnaire on your pr renewal you will not get your citizenship until clarifying your questionnaire
