did u got any update???
i have sent my quality assurance file on march 18 but still in process

I applied for citizenship in October 2017. I sent all the documents for the QAE the 20th February to the Montreal office, but no news until now. They are slow or what? Can I do something to speed the process? Thank you in advance for the answer.

From what I've noticed,

1) QAE is sent by CPC-Sydney around the time the application starts processing
RQ can be sent at any time, before or after the test.

2) No, does not show up on ECAS from what I've seen on this forum. Sent via regular mail
Hello @razerblade ,
My ecas shows Ircc has sent a correspondence regarding additional documents(dated June 25th). But I havent received any email yet. Could this be PPQ/RQ?

AFAIK, RQ/PPQ requests do not show on ECAS. Not sure if that has changed recently. I'm going to guess it's just a fingerprint request. Best to wait and find out instead of speculating.

So I did my test this month I did a 30 min interview that day, the officer told me she will analyze my file one last time and there should be no problems as per her, now waiting for the ceremony invitation which takes 2-2.5 months as per the officer...

Just sharing a timeline in case it helps anyone else that got this exercise. This is for the Scarborough office. Hope it helps give some insight.

hello seniors,
While submitting application for citizenship I had given my consent to get records from CBSA. And since I have been to USA 5 times and my home country 3 times, I have flight tickets for all the trips handy. I was going through all the stamps on my passport and found only 1 or 2 stamps were missing but as I said I have all the flight tickets. My question is still I need to get records for USA and my home country or these stamps and flight details will suffice?
Thanks

Follow the instructions in the requests you received.

Versions I have seen include instructions to provide entry/exit records issued by any country in which you have had residence status, and obviously that includes the applicant's home country.

For the U.S., if your package includes the form for giving consent authorizing the U.S. to disclose border crossing history to IRCC, signing and submitting this form should suffice. No need to separately obtain and submit U.S. records yourself.

There is some extended discussion above about substantial performance in responding to the PPQ-QAE. And indeed there have been some anecdotal reports from applicants who did not fully respond to all the requests, who have however substantially performed, without encountering much more than a verbal question during the interview. BUT of course the prudent course is to respond as fully as practically possible, and otherwise simply make a concerted effort to do as well as one can in providing what is requested.

Can you guess any reason what triggered QAE or you think it was just random and what documents were you asked to submit???

Hello all,
This question is for those who got their finger prints done. I got a letter today asking for finger prints. Do I have to send my finger print results or RCMP would send it?
Also which is faster in getting the results- RCMP or Commissioner?
Thanks.

I don’t know the real reason behind my QAE but from what I noticed they are handling my case as if there is a very real issue behind it , pointing at the requested papers, the interview questions and the delay so far!

It's hard to guess what has triggered them sometimes, so in that case it may take longer.. But as long as you meet residency requirement, I don't think there is anything to worry..
