RQ before test , timeline

Did someone who applied for citizenship who have physical presence of at least 1095 days receive RQ? On the CIC's FAQ page, it includes information about RQ if physical presence is less than 1095, but just wondering if anyone landed with RQ but with 1095 physical days or more.

Yes, me and my husband. We had more than 1095 physical presence when we sent our citizenship application (with two kids). My husband has worked almost the 5 years we live here and my kids are going to public school here in Canada since 2008. Even tho, we received RQ 3 months ago.

I wonder if sending RQ is shown in e-cas? The e-cas is updated after they send the RQ?

No, RQ won't change the E-status , it would be still in process

But does it atleast tell you in the description that a letter or something was mailed?
Asking cause without that one wouldn't even know something was mailed in it gets lost in the mail etc.

It makes perfect sense for the STATUS to not change because it is still 'In Process'. But, does the description have any additions like some people had posted their timeline and it said ' we sent you a letter on (date) kindl reply.... etc. etc.'

Do you see that in the E-cas if you are given an RQ?

So are you saying that your e-cas has no mention of the RQ not even in the description but you did receive the RQ? So is it that RQ just pops in the mail and CIC doesn't even mention any letter as sent etc. in the e-cas?

That's right. No mention of RQ online, but I did get it in March.

Yes Polarbear , I heard it takes very long time but if it comes after or at the time of the test day , but I guess no one posted timeline for RQ if it comes Before test date, if I am not mistaken.

What triggers RQ now is traveling after landing in my opinion or at least my case.

Do you know any one had the test date after receiving RQ ?

Me and my family applied for Citizenship on Oct 05/2010 got RQ right before Test [2 days ago] form local office in July 2012, after that no news YET...

I thought to create a new topic for people who receive their RQ before the Citizenship test.

We started processing your application on June 26, 2012
RQ Received on 18th July 2012
No test date yet till date

I will appreciate it if anyone in the same boat would post his/her timeline as it is pretty new to receive RQ before test nowadays.

Those who received RQ - I was wondering did you submit Notice of Assessment, Employment Letter, T4 for previous employment (if any), Educational Certificates and Transcripts for language evidence along with your citizenship application.

Does the CIC issue RQ if anyone submitted the above documents with their application?
