I got RPRF payment request yesterday, how much time generally takes to get ppr after RPRF....
Also got mail to submitt salary slips of last one year ...

My AOR was 3rd Oct 2016.

thanks in advance

Regards

Im curious about this too. Anyone?

Also, is rejection still a possibility after RFPR request?

Depends... can be a few days to several months!

You see, RFPR just means you've passed R10 and the first pass of Eligibility (A11.2) and your file has been transferred to LVO... After this you need one more pass of eligibility at you LVO and wait for the security checks to complete. Only then you'll be ready for PPR.

No one knows how long your security checks will take as this often depends on:
- Travel history (the more travel the longer)
- Government employment (this means more in-depth checks)
- Military History and/or working for the police (again more detail checks)

Guys

This thread could be continued for sharing specific information regard time taken by CIC after paying Right of permanent residency fee.

I invite and encourage all of you who have paid RPRF and waiting for passport request for joining this thread.

Some key points I would like to mentions are ---

1. People who do not pay RPRF upfront could celebrate mini party once they get a request for paying it. Because it is almost clear like day that you have passed R10 and eligibility (referring to the program in which you have applied FSW, FSTW, CEC, )

- Approximate time between RPRF and PPR are totally depended on the type of application. As CIC goes through admissibility review(http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/inadmissibility/index.asp) before finalizing the application applicant might be stuck in following checks ---

1.security
2.human or international rights violations
3.criminality
4.organized criminality
5.health grounds
6.financial reasons
7.misrepresentation
8.non-compliance with IRPA or
9.having an inadmissible family member

however, majority of applicants do not have any single connection with above-mentioned areas which could make them inadmissible but if you have visited more than 2 countries or you belong from so-called terrorism-inclined country or you have provided low quality photoshopped documents than you have to prepare for one month to 3 months time period for getting final decision on your application as CIC itself totally depend on other agencies which provided required information about applicant.

If you go through the forum you would find one good sign for all of us submitted EE in 2017. In year 2013,14, and15 CIC used to take about 2 months to 4 months. CIC has dramatically improved his speed for finalizing applications in 2016 and 2017.Some of the December/2016 applicants got PPR within 10 after paying RPRF.

I wish all the best for all of us. Discussion on this topic can help many people going through the same situation.Come and share your ideas/timelines for make this thread informative and updated.

Many thanks

Hi. It has been three weeks since I paid RPRF. FSWO AOR 14 Mar, RPRF 19 May. I have not received PPR yet. BG status has been Not Applicable since AOR.

The only update I had was for ADR, which now saws that the additional documents I uploaded are being reviewed. Can anyone please help me out here? I don't know at what stage my application is.

mine was similar until recently after exactly 45 days of RPRF payment, it changed to "We do not need additional documents."

I hope this means some progress is being made
