RPRF to PPR timelines

This thread is quite frightening. They are taking forever to process the applications. I must be patient as I just joined the club on 13th Dec 2018

I feel that it also depends a lot on your luck and where your visa file is. My file was just sitting there for 7 months after the RPRF request.. No movement whatsoever, no reply to any webform queries, no reply to emails sent to the LVO and then suddenly after 10 months I got the golden email. Almost 7 months after paying RPRF

Did they ask to resubmit your medical again?

lol yeah. I wish i had an idea. I didnt even apply for any visa this summer. Thought would spend the holidays in Canada, hahaha. Now my friend visiting Europe and im like (((((( too late to apply now. So will visit Pakistan.

I am in similar situation.

Aor : 21st March
Med passsed : 28th March
Ip2 background check : 28th March
Rprf request/ paid : 6th April

I just called CIC and agent told me mu file is being processed at ottawa and apart from medical nothing is cleared. Eligibility and background check in progress.

Which seems weird because what i heard is that rprf usually requested after eligibility is cleared, but agent told me otherwise.

RPRF is not at all a point to be content of..Anything can happen even after rPRF .. I wish you good luck ..but my first application got rejected after Rprf too..So let's hope for the best , but still do not take any big step ..That's my intention to share..

Whil submitting docs after ITA , they ask for fee and they give option to pay the application fee ,bio metrics fee and RPRF or just the application and bio metric fee ..and later when you application is proceeding in the right direction you will be asked to pay RPRF...apart from that in the middle I don't think it's possible..

Nope I am from India. I actually played a card towards the end of my file submission. I saw few threads here stating how long people are waiting after submitting their RPRF so I uploaded my offer letter which I had from a Canadian employer (Even though I didn't claim any points for it as it wasn't LMIA approved) to make my case stronger. Little did I know, that worked wonders for me. I wasn't expecting a PPR request in such a short time either.

Even I have offer letter.I am bcpnp applicant with high score.Still they are taking so much time.Aor 5 may.Med passed.Bio submitted but not updated.

You have to pay $490 for each applicant. So in your case, you have to pay $980.
