This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. The admissibility review is currently in process; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

At this time our records indicate that you have not paid the required Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if applicable.

pay your RPRF, please follow the below instructions:
 Go to our Online Payment webpage
 Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
 Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
 Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
 Click “Submit”
 Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa,
American Express or Mastercard.
Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must upload a copy of your receipt to your MyCIC account.
The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.
Your response to the above requests is required within 7 days. Regards,
From which email id, this is send?

By the way, are the 490 dollars paid supposed to show up on your profile under the list of documents uploaded, with the first 550 dollars? cause beside the receipt I uploaded I didnt get any other confirmation of reception or anything....

Please help me understand what's going on if you've been there too !

Hi dear,
What were the actual wordings that u got for ur rprf?
Regarding ur payment of 490 cad not reflecting beside your initial payment, it is perfectly alright. Ur payment is not made from ur cic account and if u remrmver, u had to register a new usernsme and password for urself inorder to pay rprf. Check in ur application submitted column and in ur profile status area and see what is the status there, initially, it will be ADR and it will finally reflect as 'not applicable'

I received the same email today to pay RPRF . I paid $980 for myself and my wife and then uploaded the same receipt twice (because there were 2 options for uploading RPRF I guess one for each person) on mycic account.

Any idea how long does it take after we pay the fee. Thanks

PPR Email: 24th Oct
Passport sent: 25th Oct
Passport delivery to CPC Ottawa: 26th Oct
13th Nov : RPRF fee paid and waiting for an update.

Hello,

I got the request to pay RPRF as I had not paid it earlier. I paid it by choosing 2 in quantity (x $490) for both myself and my spouse. However, when I logged in to my CIC account, there were two placeholders to upload RPRF receipt. I uploaded the same receipt for ($980) in each one of the placeholders and resubmitted my application to update it. I was just wondering if the fees had to be paid separately for the primary applicant and the spouse, and a separate receipt uploaded? Can anyone tell from experience?

Thanks!

Hi guys, I got e-mail from IRCC that I met eligibility criteria, at late November and in letter they were recommending to pay RPRF, and paid few days after, and got confirmation, after that nothing heard.
My case received 2018 29 January, so I’m lil bit nervous
Do I’m gonna upload payment confirmation at MyCIC? Or what’s the best idea?
