RPRF request before medicals??? what the hell?? SENIORS PLZ HELP!!!

Hi everyone, I applied on November 8, 2013. I have just received RPRF request to pay 490 for each member of my family in 30 days. It also states that my application has been found eligible but medicals, security, admissibility are still ongoing.

Is that normal? I have NOT received medicals yet, I check my mail every day. Is it some kind of mistake? Or has it happened before?

Emails from CIC are sent in automated batches An email sent at 8pm doesn't necessarily mean that CIC
is still working We've seen email on Sunday nights at 11pm as well and that would be around 1-2am in Ottawa.

The other alternate is, if you have US VISA, come back to US and cross the border through car, you dont need PR card to cross the border through car.
