RPRF Paid. Eligibility Under Review

Hey Guys,

I was sent a RPRF request under additional documents and I paid it immediately and transmitted it to IRCC.

My application still says the following

Review of eligibilityHelp - Review of eligibility

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical resultsHelp - Review of medical results

• August 9, 2019 You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documentsHelp - Review of additional documents

• The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

InterviewHelp - Interview

• You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

BiometricsHelp - Biometrics

• August 19, 2019 Completed.

Background checkHelp - Background check

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decisionHelp - Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

What could be the reason if they requested an RPRF and eligibility is still under review.

My husband is veterinary doctor and pathologist want to practice in Canada but why?

The eligibility status will remain the same till you get your passport stamped. Its insignificant

Thanks guys. But I do have a question, if my eligibility is still under review and background check has started, where does that leave me in terms of where my application is standing?
