RPRF Paid but missing in CPC Records

I am from Bangladesh. My wife from Montreal, Canada applied for my immigration under spousal visa category in December, 2011.
In July, 2012, I got a mail from CEP to send my passport and I was requested to ask my sponsor to pay RPRF.

As my wife had already paid all fee (CAD Processing fee + RPRF =1040) through her local bank at the beginning of submitting my applications, I sent my passport to Singapore. After then, I was waiting for their response.

This week I got an email from immigration to remind me again to pay RPRF. My wife contacted Mississauga call centre and the agent told my wife that their system shows only processing fee, but not the payment made for RPRF. Thy noted down for inquiry.

How could CPC get part of my payment not the whole?

My wife has the receipt's photocopy that were sent along with application.

Can you please suggest us what to do now without further delay?

If your wife paid by bank draft the bank should have given her 2 original copies of the receipt one was to be sent to CIC the other was for her records (unless Quebec does it differently), photocopies can b altered, I don't think they will accept the photocopy. Maybe she can find some help at the bank that she paid it at? the photocopy will have the date on it so she will atleast be able to start with that. Good Luck!

Call centre informed to send photocopy of receipt through fax or mail. I already faxed the receipt 10 days earlier. But I dont know how long it will take to complete the inquiry. Besides, my passport is in hold and my last medical is going to expire within few days.
I am worried if I am rejected after waiting so long for no payment notice from CPC.

Thanks for your wish. I am just worried to know how long they are supposed to wait with my passport for response from CPC.
