I recently received a "Remainder" email to pay RPRF although I never received a request before. The email also said:
"Please note that if you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible, by following these steps..."
I wasn't asked for another medical yet, but our medicals expire August 4 and I'm pretty sure they will go ahead and ask for one. I feel it's very unfair for me to pay another $900 for me and my wife to get a second medical because they're slow, on strike or whatever.
Have you heard any cases where they don't ask you for another medical/security clearance?
Also, if they somehow do issue my visa before August 4, which is unlikely, but I cannot enter Canada from the US before that date, do the medicals automatically expire or what?
Thank u all!
Hi! I feel for you too, i once felt that way when we were asked to redo our medicals.. Fault was not ours right, all we did was just to comply as quickly as we can. May I ask when did you settle your RPRF? Thanks.
