RPRF - Help!

My GF is the main applicant and I am listed as a spouse since we are common law. I'm a Canadian citizen and we just got RPRF so do we pay 1 or 2 fees?

From the letter:

The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if applicable

I would assume we only pay 1 RPRF since it doesn't make sense for a Canadian citizen to pay.
