friends need a help, information....
i received an email saying,

................ my name .....
This is in reference to your visa application for Canada.

Further medical information is required before a decision can be reached. Details have been sent to your eMedical file regarding the medical information required. Please return to see the Panel Physician who performed your immigration medical examination or to another eMedical enabled Panel Physician (http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx). The Panel Physician will arrange for the additional medical tests to be carried out and will forward the results directly to this office.

Please contact PP within 07 days from the date of this email/letter for an appointment to comply with this request. Failure to do so may result in the closing of your Immigration medical file, which may result in the refusal of your application.

Please quote your IME number on all correspondence with this office.

so, dear friends i did my medical two weeks ago.... i dont have any bad medical conditions... so i just want to know that anybody else here have the same experience with this kind of medical request from you? what is that about? please share your experience with me i really appreciate....

and also today i got another email from immigration asking me to tell my husband to pay the Right of Permanent Resident fee C$ 490 for myself... so, my husband has already paid that more than year ago when they asked us to pay... dont know why they are asking it again.. but
i have a dependent child (my son) he was under 18 the time my husband paid the Right of Permanent Resident fee C$ 490 ... and my son is now 18 years old.. so, dont know whether they cut it for my son which we paid earlier & now ask to pay for my self?
so, plzzzz my dear friends let me know what is this....
plzzzz silent members and any body who have experiences of these in this forum answer me its an urgent.... all the replies are very much appreciated......

The RPRF fee is payable by principal applicants and accompanying spouses and common-law partners.
The following applicants are not required to pay the RPRF: Dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and protected persons, including Convention refugees.

Note that the Right of Permanent Residence Fee may be paid at the time the application is submitted or at a later date when requested.

it means we dont need to pay for my son.. dependent child... so shall I send the copy of the RPRF which we had already paid..?

I don't know about the money, though I had almost the same situation with my medical. Probably there is just something not clear with your xrays or other tests. Just contact the physician, he should know what additional test is required. Do this test asap, it should be fine.

As regards RPRF, did your husband email a copy of the receipt to Mississauga office as well as the visa office where your application is being processed? If a copy of the receipt is not emailed, their system does not get updated.

hi dear actually i cant remember that i sent it by mail or what & my husband paid that & we sent it. we know that.. my process is gone for 4 years for now.. and it was paid in 2013.. actually i'm doing everything i know that we sent it... but I checked but i dont have a copy with me & now i'm going to ask my husband to check whether he has a copy of that.... if we do not have a copy of that do we have to pay it again? its very unfair and we paid it & sent the documents to the immigration... i dont understand why the immigration is doing these to us... giving more punishments for us.... dont know when this hard process will be ended up... thnx for your reply dear.....

do i need to fill it & send it to visa post?

There was an applicant in September his name on the forums is PF he had to go back for medicals. It was something about his Xray.

You can just call the doctor's office where you had your medical and they will tell you what you need to do.

About the money you can email them a copy of the payment receipt and they should update it in the file. Usually the receipt needs to be included with the original application so that they can see you paid your fees.

i too was asked for further medicals. It was discovered my xray showed an old scar. Cic requested another xray after 3 months and sputum test, and after i did that i was cleared. So just contact your doctor as soon as possible. They are just trying to verify something on your medical. You will be fine, but sooner the better. As for residency fee, that letter is usually an automated response. I paid my fee, but was still sent email reminder to pay it. Just send them a copy of receipt with your UCI number or File number. I sent my receipt through email, and courier. Wishing you the best.

By the way my request for further medicals did not have any effect on my file. I still got my permanent residency within 6 months of applying at an office that shows 21 months average processing. Good luck

write your husbands details on receipt including his application file number then scan it and email it to CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca
put the file number as subject in the email so they know right away who its for. Then mail out the other copy to the office processing your file. (both by email, and post just to be sure)

both of you are very much appreciated & this is what i got to know from the visa post in my country & medical center

theres something unclear on my xray.... so, i have to do it 2morrw again
RPRF - my husband has already paid the RPRF and i called the visa post & they asked me to fill my information in the receipt & send it to them & my husband doesnt need to send it to Mississauga office
