Rprf & biodata came but no medical yet

I have not received a MR yet. But I am pretty relaxed about that since I applied in March 2013. I will contact CPP-O next week and post an update once I get a response.
Have you tried to contact them yet like posstr suggested? It's worth a shot!

Hello folks,
I am just wondering how long does it takes . I got email from ottawa visa office that they ask payment of rprf and biodata on june 10 and i paid same day. Afterthat i didn't get any response from visa office about my medical. Now its been 3 weeks that i have been asked for rprf payment n biodata. So folks is it normal or no. If no than what should i do now plz help me out about this problem. I am august aplicant 2012.

It happnd in my case too...they asked me to pay RPRF fee first and they called my employer to enquire abt job title n duties later... Once they got a confirmation, then they sent me the medical request. I wld say its pretty normal....don't need to worry abt it.

when they call your employer do they tell they are calling for Permanent Residence application? or do they just call and confirm the dates of application?

Even the # displays that the call is from CIC... and they will introduce them self and will check the details of the letter our employer provided. They called my HR as well as my Manager who has given a letter explaining my roles and responsibilities. My manager told the conversation happened between them.
