RPRF 2013 - Payment and delay

Hi everybody!

I'd like to thank in advance your help, this forum is really amazing!

1- On 02/21/2013 I sent an email to my VO (Sao Paulo) asking if I could pay the RPRF. Then they answerd me "yes" and if I choose to paid, I should send them a scan of the receipt.

2- On 03/19/2013 I payed RPRF online through CIC website, they send me the follow email within the receipt attached:

"Please do not reply to this message. Replies to this e-mail will not be acknowledged.

Attached to this e-mail is a copy of your official receipt for the payment of Citizenship and Immigration fees. Please print this receipt and attach a copy of the receipt to your application.

Your case processing centre will only accept a printout of the official receipt as proof of payment. Thank you."

3- In the same day (03/19/2013), I sent to my VO an email content the receipt filled in.

4- On 04/17/2013, I called to my VO and they told me that I could send my passport if I want, but wihtout hurry because Mississauga didn't confirm the payment yet.

5- Today (05/01/2013) I called again to my VO in order to know if they could tell me when my PR visa would be issued. It because my wife will land to Montreal on the first week of June. They said me they cannot know, because it depends on Mississauga confirmation.

- It takes in avarege 8 weeks, correct? I'm in 6th week, so I suppose receive the passport until June.

- I've read a lot of topics about RPRF, but I'm in doubt if I should/must send a copy of the receipt to Mississauga also, even though I had paid through Online Application.

The receipt said:

"Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one for your records. If you have chosen to do your payment through your Online Application, you do NOT need to send a copy of the receipt to CIC."

I was told 6 weeks for the financial department to notify the visa office of confirmation of payment. Yet the visa office request payment within 30 days. I paid ours the same day I received the email for it, faxed the receipt to CIC, emailed the visa office that I had paid it and today I get another email from the visa office saying that they have not received confirmation yet. I sent them the receipt number and told them to contact financial themselves to confirm payment.

Their structure is completely fooked. Its designed to waste a lot of time.

I made the initial payment without the RPRF at the first submission of my application through the bank. Upon request at the PPR stage I paid the RPRF online and faxed the receipt to Mississauga. I called to try to confirm the receipt and was told that it can take up to 6 weeks to process the payment.

Check the website but it states not to resend if you have already faxed a copy. Its a completely useless system. You should be able to attach these to your E-cas account and they can view it from there.

I sent an email just to VO. I didn't send anything to Mississauga... It's better send now? The receipt says we dont need to...

i confused this too . i think when u submit the application online n pay the fees through tht application, then u dont need to send the receipt. but, since u hv already submitted ur application, u must send the receipt to Mississauga. we r supposed to send RPRF receipt only to Mississauga n not to local VO.

I paid mine March 31st online, I sent a copy of receipt to Mississauga and my VO i called CIC 2 weeks later and spoke to a lady and asked if she could tell me if my payment had registered and she told me that yes it was registered.

So contacted cic n was told to send the receipt to missisauga. Emailed the receipt in end feb to Mississauga n contacted cic again today but they still don't hv it in their system.

So contacted cic n was told to send the receipt to missisauga. Emailed the receipt in end feb to Mississauga n contacted cic again today but they still don't hv it in their system.

I faxed and emailed both cic and my VO lol I wasn't missing a thing!

Send the receipt number to the VO and tell them to confirm that with finance. I did that by way of email yesterday and today it was in the system. I just called them to verify.

Last week I sent them an email (CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca ) with the copy attached. Until now they didn't answer at this time... 05/19/2013 will complete 2 months since I paid online. Let's see.. any answer i'll post here

I never received an answer back from them. I called CIC Mississauga two weeks after and asked them if the payment was registered and they told me yes
